To Cap It All Off…

2020 has been one heck of a year! From wildfires in Australia to explosions in Beirut to a global pandemic, what else could make a year more unforgettable?😂 When Ghana’s nationwide lockdown was first enacted, I was somewhat relieved, because in some ways, I value solitude. But boredom set in eventually, and I had to find ways to cope with staying home for so long. I got a Netflix subscription, read more books, and even started this blog to keep my mind busy. I’m sure you did way more interesting stuff than me😄, let me know in the comments. This isn’t a typical Blabbermouth post, I just thought it would be nice for us to have a friendly chat about all that’s happened this year, and what you can expect from me next year

Right off the bat, I just want to say thank you! I have always enjoyed writing, and my superb community of followers and readers have been a great source of encouragement and inspiration. I honestly don’t think I would be able to do this for so long if you guys weren’t cheering me on every step of the way, because naturally, I like to keep to myself. So thank you for all your comments, kind (and flattering) words and support.

Also, 2020 is almost over, and hopefully 2021 won’t be as chaotic. Arguably, lots of good things happened this year, but can we just agree that the bad stuff sometimes made it difficult to focus on the positive? Personally, I think 2020 gave us a lot to be grateful for. It’s in times of difficulty and trial that we truly recognize the little things we take for granted in our lives, and I’m sure a lot of us will go into 2021 with a completely new perspective on the things that really matter. Maybe we’ll start to value social interaction more, or maybe we’ll realize that sometimes isolation has its merits – maybe both, who knows. But one thing’s for sure: we’ll all go into 2021 with a new-found appreciation for the people in our lives, the opportunities that come our way and perhaps most importantly, the gift of health.

Now concerning my blog…

I’ve been doing a bit of thinking lately, and I’ve decided that I should probably try to write more often. So far I’ve been writing one piece per month on average. It’s probably because I take a lot of time to produce the best content, or it could just be laziness, it happens to the best of us😂. But I’m going to try to work on more pieces per month. I want to know what you guys think of this. How often would you like to get my posts? Once a week? Twice a week? Every day? Just let me know in the comments

Yeeaahh… So that’s it for now. I’m currently working on a piece about which I will say very little, because I like suspense, and also because I’ve only written the title😂. But it should be ready in a few days, so keep an eye out. If you haven’t subscribed to my blog yet, well what are you waiting for??? Go ahead and subscribe to get updates when I post something new. Once again, thank you for being here and supporting my baby blog, and I wish you all a prosperous new year.

Quick Side Note:

If you hated 2020, I think you’ll find this satisfying:

About me... where to even begin. I'm an introvert, above all else, who basically likes to write about the stuff that happens around me. I'm an avid reader, scrabble player and software developer... Oh and I dabble in a bit of crochet.

  1. Osborn the face look look😂😂😂 but I agree with you.
Akueteh this is a great piece, actually I didn’t know the links you sent were your own work so I’m glad I opened it this time around and the content was very relatable and fun.
    Keep up the good work.
